Manual Traction

Manual traction is a gentle, hands-on technique that helps take pressure off the spine and surrounding nerves. Creating more space in the joints can reduce pain, improve mobility, and promote healing. I tailor traction to each patient’s comfort and needs, making it a safe option for spinal stiffness, disc concerns, or radiating pain into the arms or legs.

Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS/TENS)

EMS and TENS therapy use mild electrical impulses to relax tight muscles, calm irritated nerves, and encourage circulation. This can ease pain, reduce inflammation, and support the healing process. I adjust the treatment to your tolerance and condition, making it especially useful for back, shoulder, or knee discomfort.

Ultrasound Therapy

Therapeutic ultrasound delivers sound waves into soft tissue to reduce inflammation and support recovery. It can help break down scar tissue, ease muscle and tendon injuries, and restore mobility. I use ultrasound most often for tendonitis, sprains, and stiffness in the shoulders, elbows, knees, and lower back.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger point therapy focuses on releasing tight “knots” in the muscles that can cause pain and restrict movement. Applying precise pressure helps relax the tissue and restore normal function. Many patients benefit from this approach for tension in the neck, shoulders, upper back, and hips.

Graston Technique

Graston is an instrument-assisted technique that uses specialized tools to break up scar tissue and improve mobility. It’s particularly effective for repetitive strain injuries, muscle tightness, and certain sports-related conditions. Patients often see results with plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, and stubborn stiffness in the back or shoulders.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping uses gentle suction to lift the skin and underlying tissues, increasing circulation and reducing tension. This approach often leaves patients feeling looser, less sore, and more energized. It works well for tight muscles in the back, shoulders, hamstrings, and calves.

Kinesiotaping

Kinesiotaping provides gentle support to muscles and joints while allowing full movement. It can reduce swelling, improve stability, and support healing after injury. This technique is especially helpful for sprains, shoulder or knee issues, and postural support during recovery.

One-on-One Stretching (Therapeutic Exercise)

Guided stretching sessions help improve flexibility, reduce stiffness, and restore balance to the muscles. I work one-on-one with each patient to target problem areas safely and effectively. This approach is useful for tight hips, hamstrings, shoulders, and spinal restrictions, and helps support long-term mobility and posture.
